Who are the Happy Loafers and What do they do?

Some have wondered, who are the Happy Loafers? One answer was, when you order coffee in a fast food restaurant, the waitress automatically gives you the Senior discount.

Others have wondered, "What do they do?" Someone replied, "They eat." Well, eating is certainly what we do best. We meet on the first Thursday of each month at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and Christian fellowship,  either in our Wesley Hall at our church, or at a selected restaurant. We try to hold the cost to around six dollars, but some restaurants or a special event like a river cruise will cost more. Also, we have dues of six dollars per year, per person.

If you think you are a Senior and would like some warm Christian fellowship, we would love to have you join us. But because we always make reservations somewhere, we have a call list to get a head count each month.

Email Jack Corwin, and we'll do lunch!

Next meeting is December 7, 2006
